What is a Tank-less water heater?
A tank-less water heater is simply a specially designed water heater that requires no tank. Tank-less water heaters are sweeping the nation and for good reason. Any product that pays for itself is a good idea. These economical heaters are better for the environment, they never run out of hot water, they don't run when you aren't home, and in the first few years you will usually save more in gas than it costs to have one installed.
Are they Expensive?
Tank-less water heaters are not significantly more expensive than traditional models. The main things to consider are how old is your existing water heater, how much hot water do I use, how often do I leave town. If your water heater is old, or you plan on replacing it anyway, having one of these units installed is a great idea. In most cases, your monthly savings in gas will rapidly redeem the cost of this upgrade.
Why not get one installed?
There simply is no good reason not to get one. If you like saving money and care about the environment this decision should be the easiest one you will ever make!
